Back in the saddle

Sure, I said..

And as I'll be out of here way before lunch I really don't care at all. It's not as though I really had any plans for the day anyway besides walking the dog for a while and heading for the gym (note to self, charge i-pod)

Happy times yesterday. Got out while it was still light and went in search of something to eat... every restaurant full and buzzing. We eventually ended up having bad burgers (Tempeh for me) at a brew-pub before going on for Margheritas at a wee Cuban place where the lights are low enough and the music Latin enough to make even the customers look hot. Much fun.

Easter is a big holiday for us in this country.
Was walking both dogs yesterday late afternoon. A long walk round the neighbourhood footpaths to keep the puppy's (10 months) toe nails filed down so he doesn't keep having to go to the vet to have them cut. And so he doesn't scratch people when he jumps up, as he does ... still ....
Passed all the houses and wondered ' is there anyone home at all ? '
It's so deserted at this time of year. Because it's such a great time to get away and have a break.

Happy Easter Steve. Don't know if that is politically correct for you but all good wishes to you anyway.

Margaritas at a Cuban Place? Sigh...

There are beautiful spring lambs and daffodils out here but gale force winds and snow make it seem like anything but Easter. Happy Easter everyone.

Thank you Ana for the prompt,

Today is Easter Day.
The weather is warm and fine.
Blue sky and lots of clouds.
About to take off down the footpaths again with puppy and his half-brother who has just turned 2 years. Time to work off all that lucious chocolate.

Happy Easter to ALL !
