We had a great day today - the last day that we had use of Shruti's car.
We loaded Velcro into the back and headed for NJ (surprisingly posh) where the dog got to run (and run and run) around the yard / pool / house chased by a gorgeous brown lab retriever, we got to see some fantastically athletic horses battling the 35c heat and the day ended, as all days should with visiting South Africans, Rooibos tea, a hearty, fresh dinner and a real family feeling.
Fantastic day - and enough to make me yearn for the suburbs (if not another 'extreme commute'_
