New York in the sunshine really is glorious. Yes it's ugly, the roads are scarred, the buildings have no discernable front and the people stay pale until about late August but there's just something about this place that's magical.
I think that the key is possibility. At any time I can go out and do anything. The fact that I don't is irrelevant. It's all out there. And there are people out there too.
It's interesting (to me anyway) that in NYC I take pictures of interesting faces and people and elsewhere I take pictures of impressive buildings and scenery. Maybe it's just proximity that I love. But there's a buzz. And it's a human buzz.
Oh dear - I'm turning a tad Arthur Askey.
