Anyway tonight we're going to attempt a barbeque... despite the fact that the evening temperatures are still plummeting faster than Hillary's chance of being the Democrat nominee.

It'll be fun though. Some burgers, some fish, some veggie things - lots of beer and a dozen people.

Certainly enough to put me back a couple of days on the diet.

I feel sorry for old Hill's. She's only 4.5% behind (only around 1.5% I think if Mich and Florida were counted)yet everyone acts like she's been dead in the water for ever. Before the last 2, the preceeding 6 (I think) democratic nominations finished between June and August(! Teddy Kennedy v Carter 1980)and no-one suggested terminal damage to the Democrats as a result.

Not that I'd vote for the mad witch, (or the Hollow-man, or the geriatric fruit-loop)but it's sad to see the contest being largely decided by the media it seems.

Is the nomination always and only to be decided by the first 20 states to call and no-one else gets a say? I think they really HAVE to run Mich and Florida again to give authority to the candidate.

And like someone said, Gore conceeded defeat too easy to Bush.. and that worked out well didn't it..? :s

Of course, they could just all vote on the same day in future... then the candidate with the best policies rather than the candidate with the largest campaign fund would win... but that's not the American way...
